Accessibility

1. OUR COMMITMENT & "FLEX" PHILOSOPHY

Flex Your Idea Pte. Ltd. ("the Company") is committed to digital equity. We believe that SME growth and high-end digital aesthetics should be accessible to everyone, including individuals with visual, auditory, motor, or cognitive disabilities. Our goal is to provide a "Frictionless Flex" experience across our website (www.flexyouridea.com), our TikTok-integrated storefronts, and our AI-driven brand tools.

2. COMPLIANCE STANDARDS (THE "NORTH STAR")

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA standards. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide array of disabilities and more user-friendly for everyone.

Current Status: Our core infrastructure (Wix/Shopify/Custom React) is monitored regularly. We utilise a combination of manual testing and automated AI-auditing tools to maintain these standards.

3. CORE ACCESSIBILITY FEATURES

To ensure a robust user experience, we have implemented the following:

  • Perceivable: All non-text content (images, icons, brand assets) includes descriptive Alt-Text or ARIA labels.

  • Operable: Our interface is fully navigable via Keyboard Only (Tab, Enter, Space) and supports screen reader "Skip to Content" links.

  • Understandable: We use clear, concise language (no legal jargon where "vibe" suffices) and consistent navigation structures.

  • Robust: We optimise our code to ensure compatibility with current and future assistive technologies, including NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver.

4. LEGAL SAFE HARBORS & LIMITATIONS (PROTECTING THE BUSINESS)

While we strive for universal access, the Company operates in a high-velocity tech environment. The following "Safe Harbours" apply:

A. Third-Party Content & Platforms

Our website integrates with third-party platforms including, but not limited to, TikTok, Meta (Instagram/Facebook), Shopify, and Wix.

  • Disclaimer: We do not have direct control over the underlying code or accessibility compliance of these third-party platforms.

  • Liability: Flex Your Idea shall not be held liable for accessibility barriers created by third-party scripts, widgets, or "embedded" social media feeds that are outside our proprietary codebase.

B. User-Generated Content (UGC)

We may feature content from influencers, partners, or customers.

  • While we encourage all partners to provide captions and alt-text, the Company is not responsible for the lack of accessibility features in content generated by external parties.

C. The "Undue Burden" & "Technical Feasibility" Clause

In accordance with international accessibility principles, certain legacy documents or experimental AI-beta features may not yet be fully optimised. We commit to providing Reasonable Accommodation (e.g., a text-based version of an AI graphic) upon request.

5. AI-DRIVEN ACCESSIBILITY (OUR EDGE)

As an AI-forward agency, we leverage machine learning to enhance accessibility:

  • Auto-Captions: We use AI-integrated captioning for all video-based brand storytelling.

  • Dynamic Scaling: Our AI layouts adapt to high-zoom settings (up to 400%) without breaking the site functionality or "the flex."

6. FORMAL GRIEVANCE & FEEDBACK MECHANISM

Under the Singapore PDPA and general consumer protection principles, we provide a clear channel for feedback. If you encounter a "Digital Barrier," please contact our Accessibility Coordinator:

  3. Resolution/Workaround: We will provide an alternative way to access the info or fix the bug within 14 business days.

7. ONGOING AUDITS & MAINTENANCE

We don't just "set and forget." Our technical team performs:

  1. Monthly Automated Scans: To catch broken ARIA labels or low-contrast issues.

  2. Quarterly Manual Reviews: Testing the checkout flow of our merchandise shop via screen readers.

  3. Annual Policy Review: To ensure we stay ahead of any new Singapore or International (GDPR/ADA/EAA) legal shifts.
