This Privacy Policy explains how Flex Your Idea Pte Ltd ("Flex Your Idea", "we", "us") collects, uses, discloses and protects personal data under the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 of Singapore (the "PDPA"). It applies to personal data collected through this website and our enquiry and messaging channels.
1. Who we are
Flex Your Idea is a Singapore digital marketing and web development agency, operated by Flex Your Idea Pte Ltd (UEN 202037714R).
2. Personal data we collect
We collect only what we need to respond to you and serve you:
Contact form and growth plan form: your name, email, and your message. The growth plan form also asks for your phone number and website address, which are optional.
Search Visibility Score tool: the website address, your name and your business email that you enter. The tool also records the score results for your website.
Call booking: if you book a call through our Google Calendar booking page, the details you give Google are shared with us so we can hold the meeting on Google Meet.
WhatsApp, email and telephone: the details and messages you send us. If you start a WhatsApp chat, WhatsApp (Meta) also holds that data under its own terms.
Your use of this website: technical information such as pages visited, device and browser type and approximate location, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see section 9).
3. How we use personal data
To reply to your enquiry, prepare the build plan or proposal you asked for, and arrange the call you booked.
To run the Search Visibility Score you requested, show you the result and let you download it as a PDF.
To deliver and manage our services if you become a client, including invoicing.
To operate, secure and improve this website and our service.
To comply with legal and regulatory obligations.
4. Consent and withdrawal
When you tick the consent box on a form, submit the Search Visibility Score form or contact us, you consent to us collecting, using and disclosing your personal data for the purposes in section 3. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us (section 12). We will tell you the likely consequences of withdrawal, for example that we may no longer be able to provide a service you asked for, and we will act on your request within a reasonable time.
5. Promotional messages
We send promotional messages only to people who have agreed to receive them, and we observe the Do Not Call provisions of the PDPA. You can opt out at any time by replying to the message or by contacting us.
6. Disclosure to third parties
We do not sell personal data. We share personal data only where needed for the purposes above, or where the law requires or allows it. This includes:
Service providers who support our operations: our website platform, Google (Calendar, Meet, email, Tag Manager and Analytics), WhatsApp (Meta), and Cloudflare (which stores Search Visibility Score results in its database). These providers handle data on our behalf or under their own terms.
Search Visibility Score: to run the scan, the website address and brand name you enter are sent to Google search and to the OpenAI, Anthropic and Google Gemini services. We do not send your email address to them.
Government and regulatory authorities, where required by law.
7. Transfers outside Singapore
Some of these providers store or process data on servers outside Singapore, including in the United States. Where personal data is sent overseas, we take reasonable steps to make sure it receives a standard of protection comparable to the PDPA.
8. Protection and retention
We protect personal data with reasonable security arrangements against unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification and disposal. We keep personal data only as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for, or as the law or our legitimate business needs require. After that we delete or anonymise it.
9. Cookies and analytics
This website uses cookies and similar technologies to work properly and to understand how it is used. We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 to measure visits. When you first visit, a cookie banner lets you choose whether to allow analytics cookies. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's cookies in your browser, which brings the banner back, or by setting your browser to block cookies. You can also use Google's opt-out browser add-on for Google Analytics. If you block cookies, some parts of the website may not work as intended.
10. Access and correction
You may ask to see the personal data we hold about you and how it has been used or shared in the past year, and ask us to correct any error or omission. We may charge a reasonable fee for an access request and will tell you the amount before we process it. We will respond as soon as reasonably possible.
11. Data breaches
If a data breach is likely to cause you significant harm, or affects a large number of people, we will notify the Personal Data Protection Commission and the people affected as the PDPA requires.
